alors!

I saw Quantum of Solace over the weekend. It was very enjoyable. I thought Casino Royale was a better overall film, but that doesn’t take away from the experience of Solace. It was surprisingly political in dealing with the quickly fading oil supply across the globe and rape. The action scenes were done extremely well, better than its predecessor. It did, however, feel more like a side story. The greatest thing about the movie was probably the song, which was written by the incredible Jack White. The actual song was performed by Jack white and Alicia keys. A very weird pairing but, it was still spectacular. The movie was a solid B, defiantly worth checking out.

  • I’ve been playing the Left 4 Dead demo, which is one of the best games ever conceived. I’m still trying to figure out how I’m gonna buy it, since I don’t have a car or a credit card it’ll be a hassle.
  • Also, next post will probably be about Twilight.

Various Items

Brick is a fantastic film by Rian Johnson. I'll eventually write an essay or something about . It's probably my favorite movie of all time. check out the site, www.brickmovie.net.

Oakville Football Won Districts, in thoroughly kicking Melville’s ass. Mark my words we’re gonna win it all.

I recently saw the Kings of Leon, my favorite band, at the pagent (a local bar/stage show thingy). It was the best concert I've ever been to. I'll make a post on it in a little bit. The Whigs opened up for them. Never heard of them and there is only three people in their band, but they were surprisingly good.

Lastly, Obama is now the president elect. Woooooooooooooooooo!
